Today you will meet your private guide at your hotel to start together a beautiful day trip of discovery of the beauties of the mount Etna.
Mt Etna Volcano is one of the world's most active volcanoes and the most active one in Europe and is one of themost exciting destinations in Sicily.
Comfortably seated in your private deluxe car, we will reach Mount Etna driving through little villages nestled on the slopes of the volcano and you will also be able to see the old lava flows on the way to the top.
We will reach 2.000 meters (7.000 ft) where we take a walk together to visit the "Silvestri" craters (1892) and the latest new lava flows and craters from 2001/2002/where you will enjoy a fascinating desert moon-like landscape
On the way back towards Taormina you will have the pleasure to enjoy a great lunch and wine tasting in one of the most beautiful and renowned wineries located on the southern slope of the volcano, “The Gambino Winery”.
Sipping a glass of the best Etna wines while admiring the splendid Mediterranean Sea from afar will be the perfect end to a great day!
