Day 1: Florence
Private transfer from Florence Airport to Hotel in Florence. Free time to explore Florence on your own.
Day 2: Florence
Strolling through the charming streets of Florence, you will discover the magnificence of one of the most fascinating cities in the world in the footsteps of the Medici dynasty and their legacy. Our medieval Florence experience is designed to offer you a complete and in-depth immersion in the city, including the entrance to the Academy Gallery to see the iconic Michelangelo's David. After this beautiful 3 hours experience, the balance of the day will be on your own to enjoy Florence and its typical “Osterie” for lunch and dinner. Day 3: Florence
Today is dedicated to the visit of the Uffizi Gallery with its amazing paintings collections, including masterpieces of the greatest Masters of The Renaissance such as Michelangelo, Botticelli, Leonardo da Vinci and many others. Here is where you will see the famous “Venus” by Botticelli!
The Uffizi Experience will last 3 hours and then you will have the balance of the day at your disposal.
Day 4: Florence - Siena
Today you will start your day with a wonderful drive through the Tuscan countryside to reach the city of Siena considered a real Medieval jewel listed in the UNESCO World Heritage List. Accompanied by your private guide, you will stroll through the old city which looks like a fascinating maze of alleys that rise and fall and intersect with super picturesque squares, allowing you to experience something truly unique. The Siena discovery experience will last about 3 hours after that you will be on your own to discover more!
Day 5: Siena
Unique and celebrated for its medieval towers, San Gimignano is a real “blast from the past” with its still intact atmosphere. Accompanied by your local guide, you will learn all about the history and traditions of this wonderful town which has conserved intact its Medieval atmosphere.
Do not miss Time to taste here the world’s best gelato at the famous Gelateria Dondoli!
Once back to Siena you will be on your own to enjoy this unique city and its great traditional restaurants.
Day 6: Siena
Sitting on a small natural hillock, Monteriggioni is a completely walled medieval town in the Siena Province, built in the 13th century by the overlords of Siena. Here you will truly feel like you are traveling back a thousand years walking along its walls and admiring its surrounding countryside, extraordinarily timeless.
Day 7: Siena – Lucca
Famous for its towering walls, one of the few examples in Italy of city walls which are still in excellent condition, these are not only admirable architecture but also a great place for a stroll. Walking to the heart of town along the down town streets with elegant shops, craft shops and bakeries where you can sample the true delights of Lucca, you come face to face with a piece of the history of Tuscany. Every square and every monument tells of Lucca great past!
Day 8: Lucca
