Tenuta San Pietro a Pettine, located in the heart of Umbria and overlooking the picturesque valley between Assisi and Spoleto, is the ideal setting for an immersive and complete experience in the world of truffles. Surrounded by centuries-old forests and protected truffle fields, the ancient manor house is now used for hospitality and is home to the gourmet restaurant "La Cucina." Visitors will be welcomed by Federica inside the Romanesque church from the 1100s, a site of great historical and spiritual significance, once a favorite stop of Saint Francis. Here, Federica will share with you the artistic and archaeological treasures of the site, before embarking on an exciting truffle hunt with Brunello and his loyal dogs, who will reveal all the secrets of this delicacy. The truffles harvested, which the Caporicci family has been supplying to the world’s most renowned restaurants for four generations, are then transformed and preserved in their artisanal workshop, active since 1948. After the hunt, guests will be welcomed by the team at La Cucina for a refined brunch or lunch on the panoramic courtyard. This unforgettable gastronomic experience combines the freshly gathered truffles with numerous local specialties, offering a true taste of the region.
