The Roman Villa, under the protection of UNESCO since 1997, belonged to an exponent of the Roman senatorial aristocracy and due to its beauty and complexity can be considered one of the most important examples of state residence with the richest and most complex collection of Romans mosaics in the world.
Later we will go to visit Caltagirone, a beautiful Sicilian village full of Baroque palaces and famous for the best Sicilian ceramics.
