PRIVATE - Culinary Experience in the Heart of Abruzzo – Polenta Rognosa in Pettorano sul Gizio
Discover the authentic soul of Abruzzo with an experience that combines flavor and culture. Stroll through the medieval alleys of Pettorano sul Gizio, one of the most beautiful villages in Italy, accompanied by a local guide who will share its history and traditions.
Then, experience the thrill of preparing polenta rognosa the traditional way: cornmeal, a copper pot, and the characteristic wooden stick known as the cazzagno. Together with a master polentaro, you’ll learn how to stir, cut, and season it with the typical “rognoso” sauce made from pecorino cheese and pancetta.
End the day at the table, savoring the freshly prepared polenta paired with local wine and regional specialties, in a convivial atmosphere that will make you feel part of the community.
